Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy for senior clients covered by Medicare in Florida.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to help seniors live fulfilling lives.
- Assess and diagnose mental health conditions commonly affecting older adults.
- Develop and implement treatment plans focused on emotional well-being, cognitive function, and quality of life.
- Utilize the MoodRx EMHR platform for scheduling, documentation, and client communication.
- Follow all ethical, compliance, and confidentiality guidelines as per Medicare and MoodRx policies.
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must hold a valid clinical license in Florida (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD).
- Eligible for Medicare credentialing and willing to enroll under MoodRx. You must be willing to allow MoodRx to credential you with Medicare.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited U.S. institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a licensed provider.
- Strong understanding of geriatric mental health, aging-related concerns, and evidence-based interventions for seniors. Minimum 3 years experience working with elderly clients.
- Reliable internet connection and a private, secure space for telehealth sessions.
- Must have or obtain professional malpractice liability insurance ($1M/$3M coverage).
- Individual NPI number (MoodRx can provide guidance if needed).
- Valid CAQH profile and willingness to authorize MoodRx for credentialing.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation:
- $60 per 1-hour therapy session depending on qualifications and Medicare/Insurance reimbursements.
- Be willing and able to provide 5-25 sessions per week using online virtual sessions using doxy.me.
